- Combine softened cream cheese, brown and white sugars and vanilla with an electric mixer, until smooth, creamy and well blended. Make sure the cream cheese is softened before beginning to mix. You do not want lumpy cream cheese.
- Add one or two teaspoons of milk, if desired, to make it a little less thick. You may like the thickness or you may want it a bit less thick to scoop up with the apple slices. Your choice-make it your own.
- Stir in all, except for-about 2 tablespoons of the toffee bits and refrigerate to chill. Set the two tablespoons aside.
- Just before serving, cut apples into slices (toss in lemon juice or Frescca to help the apples to not turn brown-optional but recommended) and top apple dip with remaining toffee bits. Enjoy!
- Repeated Note: You may want to dip the sliced apples in lemon juice or Fresca to keep the apples from turning brown as they sit. Make sure to pat the liquid off of the apples after dipping.
