Eggs

Milk

Pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin but NOT pumpkin pie mix)

Brown sugar

Vanilla

Cinnamon

Instructions for Pumpkin Spice French Toast:

Place bread on a large baking dish and place in a 175 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.

Mix remaining ingredients together in a 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish.

Dip bread into the egg and milk mixture, coating all sides.

Cook on a 350 degree pre-heated griddle for 2-3 minutes on each side or until French toast is browned just like you like it.

Serve with syrup, whipping cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Place bread in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Then, place baking sheet in a 175° degree oven for 8-10 minutes or leave the bread slices out on the kitchen counter overnight.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients in a 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish. Mix well.

  3. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, coating all sides.

  4. Cook on a 350° griddle for 2-3 minutes-each side. Or until browned to your liking.
