6 ears of corn, husked, silk removed and washed well

1/2 cup butter, not margarine

1 cup milk, I used 2%

Salt and pepper, if desired

Instructions for Buttery Boiled Corn on the Cob:

Fill a pot halfway full with water-just enough to cover the corn on the cob.

Add milk and butter. Stir over medium heat as butter begins to melt, add the cleaned ears of corn on the cob.

Bring the water to a boil. Boil for 8 minutes. Then, remove from the heat.

Drain the water off of the ears of corn. Then, salt and pepper each ear of corn to your taste and enjoy!

An easy and buttery way to cook corn on the cob.

Ingredients

  • 6 ears corn husked and washed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Fill a pot half way with water-enough to cover the corn. Place on the stove over medium to medium-high heat.

  2. Add milk and butter. Stir to combine and to melt the butter.

  3. Add ears of corn and bring to a boil.

  4. Boil for 8 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat, drain and sprinkle salt and pepper over each ear of corn.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
