Buttery Parmesan Shells


I love easy pasta recipes! This Buttery Parmesan Shells recipe is so delicious and so easy! It is a great weeknight dinner after a busy day.

Ingredients:

16 oz. Shells pasta

8 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 tablespoons flour

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups half and half

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper

Cook pasta in salt water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a sauce pan, melt butter on medium heat with garlic. Cook until fragrant.

Whisk in the flour and then slowly add the milk and half and half.

Add in the Parmesan cheese and mix to combine.

Continue stirring and bring to a boil.

Turn heat to low. Add the basil, salt, pepper and stir. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Combine with the pasta, stir to coat.
