Ingredients Needed for Easy Chili:

Ground beef

Garlic cloves, minced

Onion

Kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Pinto beans, drained and rinsed

Black beans, drained and rinsed

Petite diced tomatoes

Tomato paste

Tomato sauce

Chicken broth

Chili powder

Salt

Pepper

Cumin

Cayenne pepper

Red pepper flakes

Cheddar cheese, for topping

Sour cream, for topping

Jalapeños, for topping

Instructions for Easy Chili:

In a large pot, cook ground beef and onion until browned.

Add garlic and cook for one more minute-until fragrant.

Add in all other ingredients and mix well.

Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer to thicken-10 to 15 minutes.

Serve topped with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and jalapeños, if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 15.5 ounce cans kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 15.5 ounce can pinto beans drained and rinsed
  • 15.5 ounce can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 14.5 ounce can petite diced tomatoes
  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 14 ounce can chicken broth
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • sour cream
  • cheddar cheese grated
  • jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Crumble cook ground beef with the diced onion until cooked through.

  2. Add the garlic and cook for one more minute.

  3. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato paste and sauce, chicken broth and seasonings. Stir to combine.

  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes to thicken.

  5. Serve with sour cream, grated cheese, sliced jalapeños and corn bread, if desired.
