Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is a perfect sandwich. The tender shredded barbecue pork between toasted bread and melty cheese-delicious. This is a simple way to use leftover pulled pork, if you have it or just cook a pork loin in the slow cooker and make it fresh.

Ingredients Needed For Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese:

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork loin
  • Barbecue sauce, Sweet Baby Ray’s is our favorite
  • Sandwich bread, we prefer white bread for grilled cheese
  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Butter
  • Coleslaw, optional
Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is a simple recipe made with barbecue pulled pork, grilled bread covered in melty cheese. You can even use leftover barbecue pulled pork. #BarbecuePulledPork #GrilledCheese #Sandwiches #EasyDinnerRecipes #PorkRecipes

Instructions For Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese:

  1. Cook pork loin in a slow cooker for 4-6 hours on low until cooked through.
  2. Remove cooked pork loin from the slow cooker and shred.
  3. Drain juices from the slow cooker and place shredded pork back into the slow cooker. 
  4. Cover shredded pork with desired amount of barbecue sauce and heat through.
  5. Butter bread on all sides and place on a pre-heated griddle or in an electric frying pan-the lid with an electric frying pan will help the cheese melt. 
  6. Place cheese slices onto each piece of bread. Heat to melt and toast bread.
  7. Add hot pulled pork and coleslaw (if desired) to half of the bread slices. 
  8. Place sides together to make a sandwich and enjoy!
  9. One and a half pound pork loin made five sandwiches.
