Salad: A simple green salad with a light vinaigrette can provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the carbonara.

Garlic Bread: Serve slices of garlic bread or garlic knots to soak up any remaining sauce.

Roasted Vegetables: Roasted vegetables like asparagus, broccoli, or cherry tomatoes can add color and nutrition.

Bruschetta: A classic tomato and basil bruschetta or other Italian-inspired toppings on toasted baguette slices can be a delicious side.

Caprese Salad: A Caprese salad with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze can provide a burst of flavor and color.

Fried Zucchini: Thinly sliced and lightly breaded fried zucchini or zucchini chips can add a yummy crunch.

Breadsticks: Classic breadsticks, whether plain or seasoned, are a fun and easy-to-serve side.
