Ingredients Needed For Swedish Meatballs:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ cup raw rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 1½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cans water
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions For Swedish Meatballs:

To start making these Swedish Meatballs, grease a 10×15 glass baking dish. If you don’t have a pan that big, you can use a 9×13 pan and a 9×9 pan. The meatballs can be close together in the pan but you don’t want them touching one another.

In a large bowl, you will combine the beef, (you can also use ground turkey), rice, egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs. Mix this really well until everything is thoroughly combined. The mix will be very sloppy.

Shape the meat mixture into balls and place them in the baking dish.

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soups, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this sauce mixture over the meatballs.

Cover the pan with foil and bake these for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. After the 45 minutes, you will remove the foil and bake the meatballs for an additional 45 minutes.

Enjoy!
