Instructions for Baked French Toast:

Slice the French bread into slices and then, cut each piece into four smaller pieces.

Melt butter and pour it into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl (large enough to fit all of the egg mixture and bread), whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Add the pieces of bread to the egg mixture. Mix well so each piece of bread is coated in the egg mixture.

Place the coated bread and egg mixture into the pan on top of the melted butter.

Cover and refrigerate for three hours (you can also leave this in the refrigerator over night).

When ready to bake, bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. The bread should be golden brown.

Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with our favorite syrup: Raspberry Syrup and whipped cream.
