Instructions for Red Raspberry Syrup:

Measure 3 cups of frozen raspberries and then let them thaw. I will defrost them in the microwave, if I am in a hurry.

When raspberries have thawed, place them in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Pour blended raspberries into a sauce pan. Add Karo, sugar and water.

Bring the mixture to a boil, while stirring.

Boil for 10-12 minutes. Stirring frequently.

Pour syrup through a sieve or a strainer with very small holes to catch all of the raspberry seeds.

Serve over pancakes, waffles, French toast, or even vanilla ice cream. We like to serve this syrup with Baked French Toast.

Enjoy!  It’s has beautiful color for Valentine’s Day or Christmas breakfast.
