Butter Seared Steak

I love the easiness of this Butter Seared Steak for a fancy dinner meal!  It is a great way to cook steak in the winter when you don’t want to go grill in the freezing weather and it gets cooked in butter… The butter gets browned and puts a great flavor into the steak. You are going to love it!

Ingredients:

2 sirloin steaks

2 Tbl. butter

Salt

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Directions:

Season steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. In an oven safe skillet put 1 Tbl. butter in the pan on medium high heat and let melt. Set the steaks in and let sit for 3-4 minutes without moving them. Flip the steaks and put 1/2 Tbl. butter on top of each steak.

Put the pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes depending on your preferred doneness. Remove from the oven, cover with foil and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.

Enjoy!
