Instructions for Garlic Bread Meatball Sub:

Heat frozen prepared meatballs in one cup of spaghetti sauce until heated through.

While the meatballs heat through, slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on a large baking sheet.

Coat the inside of each half of French bread with garlic butter.

Place the garlic butter coated bread into the oven on low broil. Watch the bread closely. Remove the bread from the oven when it has become lightly toasted.

Now, top each side of the bread with one cup of grated mozzarella cheese.

Place bread back into the oven-heated to low broil. Watch the bread closely. Remove bread from the oven when the cheese has melted.

Place the hot meatballs and the one cup of sauce onto the garlic bread. Place the top of the bread on top of the meatballs.

Heat the extra spaghetti sauce in the microwave to use as a dipping sauce.

Slice and serve with diced onion and diced green pepper.

Enjoy!

Cooks Note: I only use one cup of sauce on the meatballs so the bread will not become soggy. I toast the bread first for the same reason. Soggy bread is not so good. I let my guests use the extra sauce for dipping in case they want their sub more saucy.
