Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are simple to make and so much fun. Thinly sliced meat, mushrooms, peppers, onions, cheese, and seasonings make these little sandwiches fantastic! We use the Steak-Umm thinly sliced meat from the freezer section in the grocery store-or Walmart, of course. Walmart is usually where I find this meat.

We have been having fun making sliders lately. I made a salad as our side for these yummy sliders-or you could pair them with some carrot and celery sticks-and dinner is done! They are really good and fun to make and eat. The little kids like them because of the size.

Ingredients Needed for Philly Cheesesteak Sliders:

12 slider rolls

1  21 ounce box Steak-Umm thin steaks (in the freezer section)

1  medium onion, sliced and quartered

1/2 large green bell pepper, seeds removed then sliced

3/4 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon seasoning salt-I use Lawry’s

10 slices provolone cheese

How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Sliders:

1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cook the thinly sliced steak, onion, green bell pepper and mushrooms in a deep frying pan. Break the meat up a little as it cooks.

3. Cut the slider buns in half horizontally and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish. (These rolls come connected. I do not disconnect them until after they have baked in the oven.)

4. Add the spices and the seasonings to the meat mixture. Stir to blend the flavors.

5. Distribute the meat mixture as evenly as possible on top of all of the slider buns that are in the baking dish.

6. Lay the cheese slices on top of the meat mixture and place the tops of the buns back on top.

7. Place in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

8. Remove from the oven and cut the slider sandwiches apart.

Serve and Enjoy!!
