Ingredients Needed For Peach Butter:

  • 2 pounds fresh ripe peaches, peeled and sliced or chopped
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg

Instructions For Peach Butter:

  1. Peel, remove pits and slice or chop the peaches. 
  2. Place prepared peaches and sugar into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. 
  3. Stir as the peaches cook-boil for 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are tender. 
  4. Remove from the heat and blend with an immersion blender until all of the lumps are blended. 
  5. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg. 
  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. 
  7. Enjoy this fresh fruit spread on toast, muffins, English muffins, pancakes, waffles or anything you would like.
  8. Option: If you want your peach butter to be more smooth, after cooking the peaches, strain peach mixture through a fine metal strainer. Then, mix in the remaining ingredients.
