Ingredients Needed for Oreo Cookie Dessert Dip Recipe:
Cream cheese
Oreos
Powdered Sugar
Vanilla
Half and Half
Cookies, crackers, or fruit for dipping

Instructions Needed for Oreo Cookie Dessert Dip Recipe:
In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Remember, your cream cheese needs to be softened so it will blend into a smooth and creamy mixture.
Add the half and half and the vanilla. Mix well, until smooth and creamy.
Crush Oreo cookies. I placed my 10 Oreos in a Ziploc bag and crushed them with a rolling pin. You can also pulse them in a food processor-I just don’t want to wash that for a few oreos.
Fold crushed Oreos into cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate to chill. Serve this Oreo Cookie Dessert Dip with cookies, graham crackers, and/or fruit. Enjoy this smooth and creamy dessert dip!
FAQs:
Can I use heavy cream instead of half and half? Yes, heavy cream will work for this recipe.
Can I make this ahead of time? Yes, you can make this the day before and refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with extra Oreo crumbs or small pieces just before serving so they stay crunchy.
How long can I keep this in the refrigerator? If you have leftovers, you can store this in the refrigerator for up to three days. The Oreo cookies on top will not stay crunchy.
Variations For Oreo Cookie Dip:
Substitute the vanilla extract with lemon and use lemon Oreos instead of the original Oreos.
Serve with fruit instead of cookies and graham crackers.
You could replace the half and half with Cool Whip (2 1/2 cups), if desired.
*On a healthy note (LOL-because this is not a healthy dessert, but) as we are trying to go away from more processed foods like Cool Whip, heavy whipping cream is a great. It does not take much time to whip up some heavy whipping cream with a bit of sugar to replace cool whip and it tastes great!
When To Serve This Oreo Cookie Dip:
This is a great dip for holiday parties.
This is perfect on a dessert board for Christmas.
This works great for movie night or game night.
This is fun dip for the Fourth of July-it is not red, white and blue but, Oreos are a national favorite!
Giving this in a small holiday container with some cookies or box of graham crackers would make a fun neighbor gift.
Along with 4th of July, if you celebrate Christmas in July-this or Hot Cocoa Dip works great.
