Circle Eggs

My husband loves Circle Eggs! They are such a fun way to eat breakfast and are ridiculously easy to make. Kids love them and so will you!

Ingredients:

1 egg

1 piece of bread

Butter

Using a cup, cut out the center of the bread. Take out the circle and butter both sides. Butter both sides of the outside crust and place it in a greased pan on medium heat. Make sure all parts of the bread are touching the pan so the egg doesn’t leak out.

Crack the egg in the middle of the bread.

Let egg cook until ready to flip. Flip over and cook on the other side until done to your desired likeness. Place the center of the bread in the pan and cook until your likeness.

Repeat for as many circle eggs as you would like!

Remove from pan and enjoy!

  1. This is so good. I’ve always called it “Toad in the Hole.” The name’s even good!
