Ginger Snaps


Ginger Snaps are soft, chewy, and delicious. This is a fantastic recipe. Hope your family enjoys them too.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/4 cup molasses

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon ginger

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup sugar to roll cookie dough in before baking
Directions:
1. With an electric mixer, cream softened butter and sugar together until creamy.

2. Add egg and molasses and combine.

3. Then, mix in flour, baking soda, salt, ginger and cinnamon until well combined.

4. Roll cookie dough into balls, roll balls in the extra sugar, and bake st 350 degrees for 12 minutes. 12 minutes gives a soft inside  and a chewy outside edge-delicious.
