Instructions for Cookie Butter Cookies Recipe:

I like to refrigerate my cookie butter before I make these cookies-it makes it easier to stuff the cookies.

In a mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla.

Add the egg and mix.

Add flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine until just blended.

Either make 30 similar-sized cookie balls with the cookie dough or scoop out a bit more than one tablespoon of cookie dough and wrap it around 1/2 teaspoon of the cookie butter. (I prefer to make 12 cookie dough balls, press my index finger into the centers of each cookie ball, and fill each hole with 1/2 teaspoon of the cookie butter. Then, fold the dough around the cookie butter and roll into balls. Bake the 12 cookies while I make the next set of 12-since my cookie sheet will hold 12 cookies).

Place on an un-greased baking sheet (or covered with parchment paper) and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Cool on a cooling rack and enjoy! Definitely eat one when they are still warm. 😊

  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsps milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 15 tsp Biscoff Cookie Butter

Instructions

  1. Place cookie butter in the refrigerator.

  2. With an electric mixer, combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.

  3. Mix in egg.

  4. Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda into the Crisco mixture-just until blended.

  5. Use a little more than a tablespoon of cookie dough for each 1/2 teaspoon of cookie butter.

  6. This makes about 30 balls of cookie dough. Indent the middle of each cookie dough ball with your finger and fill the hole with 1/2 teaspoon of cookie butter. (I like to roll 12 at a time-bake the 12 while I make more cookie balls and stuff them).

  8. Place on a large baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375°

  9. Cool on a cooling rack and enjoy!
