We arrived home late with no plans for dinner. I know I am not the only one that does this 😊. I put this recipe for One Pan Chicken Jalapeño Burritos together very quickly. They turned out perfect and delicious. It is now our go to dinner recipe when we are short on time.

Ingredients Needed for One Pan Chicken Jalapeño Burritos Recipe:

2-12.5 ounce cans canned chicken, drained I love Kirkland’s (Costco) brand.

1-15 ounce can beans drained and rinsed I used kidney because I had it and it was good. Next time I’ll use pinto beans or I really like black beans with chicken.

1-4 ounce can green chilies

1-7 3/4 ounce can Jalapeño El Pato Sauce

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1/2 cup water

Flour tortillas

Toppings if desired:

Cheese, grated

Sour cream

Salsa

How to Make One Pan Chicken Jalapeño Burritos:

Put all ingredients in a deep frying pan.

Stir to combine. Break up the chicken pieces.

Cook until onion is desired tenderness.

Serve in tortilla shells with salsa, cheese, sour cream-anything you like on your burritos.

Ingredients

  • 2 12.5 ounce cans canned chicken drained
  • 15 ounce can beans (kidiney, pinto, black, red-use what you have) drained and rinsed
  • 4 ounce can green chilies diced
  • 7 3/4 ounce can jalapeño El Pato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 cup water

Toppings:

  • flour tortillas
  • cheddar cheese grated
  • sour cream
  • salsa
  • olives sliced

Instructions

  1. Place first six ingredients into a deep frying pan and heat through, stirring and cooking until onion is desired tenderness.

  2. Fill flour tortillas with chicken mixture. Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
