Spam Fried Rice

Spam Fried Rice is a quick and easy recipe. It makes a great side or a great main dish.

You can replace the Spam with ham, if you would rather. The Spam makes it easier for little kids to eat because Spam is so soft. The Spam also gives this dish a yummy flavor.

Ham is also good in this dish. We always have ham for Christmas Eve dinner and for Easter dinner. We always have leftover ham. I dice up the extra and make this recipe or freeze the ham to use later in this recipe or in other recipes that require diced ham. I love to have pre-prepped meat and vegetables in the freezer for quick meals-it makes my life easier.

Ingredients You Will Need:

cooked rice



green pepper

soy sauce



How To Make Spam Fried Rice:

Place diced Spam, onion and green pepper in a cooking sprayed skillet. Fry until onion and pepper are tender and Spam is a little bit browned.

Add rice to Spam mixture and heat through.

Combine soy sauce, water, and sugar. Mix and add to Spam mixture. Heat through.

This recipe does not require many ingredients or many steps to make. It is great for week nights or any busy night because it is simple to make.

Spam Fried Rice

An easy and delicious fried rice recipe.

  • 8 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cans Spam diced
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 large green pepper diced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar


  1. Cook your rice and set aside.

  2. Place diced Spam, onion, and green pepper in a frying pan or Wok sprayed with cooking spray or add a little oil. Cook until onion and green pepper are tender and the Spam is a little browned.

  3. Add rice to Spam mixture and heat through.

  4. Combine soy sauce, water, and sugar. Mix and add to the Spam mixture. Stir to combine.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
