English Muffin Pizzas
English Muffin Pizzas are a fun family dinner. Kids love to make and eat them. We used pepperoni and olives. There are lots of toppings you could prepare and let everyone make their own. Canadian bacon and pineapple, pepperoni and pineapple, sausage, mushrooms-anything you love on pizza!
Ingredients Needed for English Muffin Pizzas:
12 English muffins, split in half
1 jar of spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce
1 can olives, sliced
Pepperoni-enough for 4 or 5 pepperoni on each muffin half
Mozzarella cheese
Instructions for English Muffin Pizzas:
Split muffins in half and place on a large cookie sheet. Spread pizza sauce on each English muffin. Top with pepperoni, olives, and mozzarella (Can use any other toppings you like: sausage, mushrooms, onion, and green pepper).
Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. After the 10 minutes, turn the broiler on low (don’t move the oven rack). Watch closely. Let broil for about 3 minutes until cheese is a browned just a little.
*Children love to help make these simple pizzas. They can put just what they want on their own pizza.
