Ingredients Needed For Eggnog Waffles:

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3 1/2 cups eggnog
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

How To Make Eggnog Waffles:

  1. Separate eggs. Place egg whites in a mixing bowl and set the yolks aside for later.
  2. Beat the egg whites, with an electric mixer, until stiff peaks form-about 4-6 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Place flour, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg in another mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the yolks, eggnog and oil to the flour mixture. Whisk to just combine. Some lumps will remain.
  5. Next, fold in the egg whites just until combined. 
  6. Cook waffle batter on a hot waffle iron.
