My family and I really enjoyed these Brown Sugar Cookies. I make these all the time because of how easy they are. I love that they are coated in sugar and are so soft and chewy!
Ingredients:
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbl. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup sugar for rolling
Directions:
Mix the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl mix the butter and brown sugar together until there are no lumps. Mix in the egg. Add the vanilla.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well. Chill for 2 hours.
Remove dough from the fridge and let it soften slightly at room temperature. Roll into balls and roll in the sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes.
Enjoy!
