Parmesan Funeral Potatoes

These are not your average funeral potatoes… These Parmesan Funeral Potatoes are topped with parmesan cheese instead of traditional corn flakes. I like the parmesan so much better because the cheese gets crispy on the top and it is delicious!

Ingredients:

24 oz. frozen hash browns

1/2 cup onion, grated

1 stick butter

2 cans cream of chicken soup

16 oz. sour cream

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups cheddar cheese, grated

Parmesan cheese for the top

Directions:

In a medium saucepan combine butter, soup, sour cream, garlic, and cheddar cheese. Cook on medium heat stirring often until the mixture is melted and mixed well.

Grease a 9×13 pan and dump the hash browns in it. Pour the cheese mixture over the hash browns and toss with a fork to combine. Sprinkle as much parmesan cheese as you would like over the top.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Enjoy!
