Pico de Gallo

Ingredients

  • 4 large roma tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • 1 medium jalapeño stem and seeds removed, diced finely
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 tbsp lime juice to taste
  • 1/4 tsp salt more as desired to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop tomatoes, dice onion and jalapeño and chop cilantro. Place in a bowl.

  2. Add minced garlic, lime juice and salt. Stir to combine.

  3. Cover and refrigerate to chill and blend flavors, 15 minutes to an hour.

  4. Serve with a slotted spoon to drain off much of the juices.

  5. Serve as a dip or serve on the side of burritos and more.
