The best cookies with cookie butter stuffed inside.
Place cookie butter in the refrigerator.
With an electric mixer, combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
Mix in egg.
Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda into the Crisco mixture-just until blended.
Use a little more than a tablespoon of cookie dough for each 1/2 teaspoon of cookie butter.
This makes about 30 balls of cookie dough. Indent the middle of each cookie dough ball with your finger and fill the hole with 1/2 teaspoon of cookie butter. (I like to roll 12 at a time-bake the 12 while I make more cookie balls and stuff them).
Fold cookie dough around cookie butter and roll into a ball.
Place on a large baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375°
Cool on a cooling rack and enjoy!
