An easy, fun, homemade candy recipe you will love.
Crush vanilla wafer in a blender. Place in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
Slowly in the microwave, or in a sauce pan, or preferably a double boiler, melt the chocolate bars slowly. Stir frequently.
When chocolate is melted, remove from the heat and stir in the Cool Whip. Blend well.
Then, stir in the chopped almonds. Mix well.
Place chocolate mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Remove from the refrigerator and drop chocolate mixture, about 1 tablespoon at a time, into the vanilla wafer crumbs. Form a ball and coat in the crumbs.
Place coated fudge drops back in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
