A holiday syrup recipe, perfect for breakfast or dessert-over ice cream!
Place butter, eggnog and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stirring often.
When mixture reaches a boil, boil for one minute.
Then, remove from the heat and add nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda and water. Stir.
The baking soda and water will make this syrup foam a bit.
Enjoy over pancakes, waffles, crepes, German pancakes, French toast or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!!
