A delicious creamy soup filled with yummy ingredients.
In a large pot, add butter, chopped mushrooms, chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until vegetables are cooked.
Add flour to the butter and vegetable mixture and stir for one minute.
Add chicken broth, thyme, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally-as needed.
Lower heat and add heavy cream, chopped chicken, tortellini and grated cheese.
Stir and heat through at a low boil to cook the tortellini, 3-4 minutes.
Serve and enjoy with extra cheese, a yummy bread or serve in bread bowls.
