A super easy Spanish Rice recipe that you bake.
Pre-heat oven to 375°.
Use a fine wire mesh strainer to rinse the rice with water until the water runs clear.
Place rinsed rice in a small baking dish-9x9. Set aside.
Place tomato sauce, chicken broth, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder and salt into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
After the mixture boils, pour it over the rice in the baking dish. Stir and quickly cover with foil, tightly.
Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let it sit with the foil on for five minutes.
Remove the foil and fluff with a fork and serve. Serves 6-8.
