A simple limeade recipe made with a simple syrup recipe.
Place all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring mixture to a boil.
Boil to dissolve the sugar and then remove from the heat to cool.
Once mixture has cooled, store in the refrigerator. This makes about 3 1/2 cups.
When ready to enjoy, mix the simple lime syrup half and half with very cold water. (one cup of water to one cup lime simple syrup)
Serve over ice and with slices of lime, if desired. Enjoy this tart refreshing beverage.
