An easy comfort food recipe made in the slow cooker.
Place chicken broth, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, pepper, ground ginger and thyme into a slow cooker and stir to combine.
Add pork loin to the slow cooker. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low.
When pork loin has cooked for 8 hours, remove it from the slow cooker.
Pour juices from the slow cooker into a sauce pan. Add bouillon cubes and bring to a boil.
In a small bowl or a glass measuring cup, mix warm water and flour with a whisk until smooth and well blended.
Slowly add roux (flour and water mixture) to the sauce pan, using a whisk.
Mix and simmer to thicken.
Serve gravy over meat and mashed potatoes, if desired.
