An easy dinner recipe with great flavor.
Crumble cook ground chicken. Add chopped water chestnuts and green onions. Stir and cook for two more minutes.
In a sauce pan, add orange juice, orange zest, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil stirring frequently.
Mix corn starch and water together and add to orange sauce. Continue boiling and stirring to dissolve the brown sugar and to thicken.
When sauce has thickened, combine sauce with the ground chicken mixture.
Serve in lettuce leaves. Garnish with more green onions, extra orange zest, and sesame seeds, if desired.
