Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and set aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In the bowl with the melted butter, add the sour cream, milk, and eggs. Whisk to combine.

  4. Combine flour mixture with butter mixture. Stir to mix.

  5. Pour cornbread mixture into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.

  6. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
