A delicious breakfast syrup-perfect for fall.
Melt butter in a small sauce pan with sugar, buttermilk, and Karo syrup.
Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for about 2 minutes.
Remove mixture from the heat and add baking soda and water. Stir.
Add vanilla and cinnamon. Stir.
Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
