An easy homemade pizza crust recipe.
Pour warm water in a stand mixer and sprinlke the yeast on top of the water. Gently give it a stir. Then, sprinkle the sugar on top of the yeast and let stand for five minutes.
Next, add salt, oil and 2 cups of flour. Mix to combine-add more flour as needed to get the dough to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Then, mix for five minutes on medium speed. (when measuring flour: fluff flour with a spoon and then, spoon the flour into the measuring cup-level off with the straight side of a knife)
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel. Let stand for two hours.
Then, press pizza dough onto lightly greased pan-I use a large baking sheet. Spray your hands with a little cooking spray if needed, when pressing the dough out.
Poke holes all over the pizza dough with a fork and bake for 10 minutes at 450°.
Remove from the oven and put desired toppings on top.
Bake at 450° for 18-20 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy!
