A thin and yummy pizza crust that is easy to make.
Pour warm water into a stand mixer.
Sprinkle the yeast on top of the water and give it a stir. Then, sprinkle the sugar on top of the yeast. Let stand for five minutes.
After the five minutes, add the salt, oil and 1 1/2 cups flour. Mix to combine-add more flour as needed. Stop adding flour when dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Mix for five minutes. (*when measuring flour: fluff flour with a spoon and then, spoon the flour into the measuring cup-level off with the straight side of a knife)
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel. Let stand for two hours.
After the two hours, press dough onto a lightly greased pan (I use a large sheet pan). Spray your hands with a little cooking spray, if needed when pressing out the dough.
Poke the pizza dough all over with a fork and bake at 450° for 7 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with your favorite pizza ingredients.
Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Watch near the end of baking so the cheese does not get too browned.
Enjoy your thin and chewy pizza crust!
