An easy one pan, ground beef dinner recipe-perfect for busy weeknights.
Place ground beef into a large skillet (that has a lid) and begin cooking the ground beef as you break it up.
As soon as the ground beef broken up, add the sliced mushrooms, diced onion, and diced green pepper. Sauté until meat has cooked through and the mushrooms, onion and green pepper are nearly tender.
Next, add the rice, minced garlic, beef broth, water, beef bouillon, pepper, salt, garlic powder and onion powder to the skillet. Stir to combine well. Cover and bring to a boil.
Simmer until rice is tender-about 45 minutes-longer as needed, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
When the rice is tender, remove the lid, reduce the heat and add the sour cream and 1 cup of milk. Mix until well combined and heated through. Adjust by adding more milk, a little at a time to get desired consistency.
Top with dried parsley, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
