A delicious cheesy pasta dish.
Crumble cook ground beef and chopped onion in a deep frying pan.
Add minced garlic, spaghetti sauce, and can of diced Italian tomatoes plus the juice in the can. Bring to a boil and simmer about 4-5 minutes on low heat.
While meat is cooking, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cheeses, egg, and dried parsley until mixed well. Set aside.
In a 9 X 13 baking dish, place 2 cups of sauce in the bottom.
Place all of the cooked pasta on top of the 2 cups of sauce.
Place all of the cheese mixture on top of the pasta.
Place the remaining sauce on top of the cheese mixture.
Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Remove Three Cheese Italian Pasta Bake from the oven, remove foil, cover with 1 cup of reserved mozzarella cheese and return to oven just to melt cheese.
