Sugary Biscuit Donuts

The easiest way to make donuts at home from a can of biscuits and some sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 can biscuits
  • oil for frying
  • sugar to coat the donuts

Instructions

  1. Cut out the center of each biscuit. If you have a small circle cookie cutter you can use that, if not you can just use knife and cut out a circle.

  2. Heat up enough oil in a pan on low heat for one biscuit to float in the oil without touching the bottom of the pan. Let the oil get hot but don't let it boil.

  3. Place each biscuit in the oil and let it get a light golden brown on each side. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to soak up excess oil.

  4. Put the donut in a bowl filled with sugar and toss to coat it.

  5. Enjoy!
