1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2-2 tsp cumin-to taste

1 tsp salt

If you are making these beans with the Copycat Cafe Rio Sweet Pork Burrito recipe (3 pounds of pork), you will want to DOUBLE this recipe as follows:

4-15 ounce cans black beans, drain two cans

1 tsp garlic powder

3-4 tsp cumin-to taste

2 tsp salt

Easy Instructions for Garlic Black Beans:

Drain one can of black beans and place in a sauce pan. Place undrained black beans into the sauce pan.

Add garlic powder, cumin and salt to the black beans.

Heat through while stirring so the beans do not burn.

Serve with a slotted spoon. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 15 ounce cans black beans drain one can
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2-2 tsps cumin to taste
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Drain one can of black beans and place beans in a medium sauce pan. Add the other undrained can of black beans to the sauce pan.

  2. Place remaining ingredients in a sauce pan.

  3. Heat through. Stir often so the beans will not burn.

  4. Serve with a slotted spoon and enjoy!
